Directing – Katie Leinenbach

Katherine (Katie) Leinenbach is currently a senior studying Industrial Engineering with a minor in Management. She is from Newburgh, Indiana, a small town in Southwest Indiana. She interned with The Walt Disney Company as a Workforce Management Labor Analyst Intern in Orlando, Florida last fall and as an Industrial Engineering Intern in Anaheim, California this summer.

Katie was a host during the inaugural Rising Professionals Program and a mentor during the most recent Rising Professionals Program. Outside of Rising Professionals, Katie is an ambassador for the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, a volunteer for Junior Achievement, and the Executive Vice President of Sigma Kappa Sorority. She is thrilled to share her passion for Purdue University as she leads an exemplary group of dedicated students to create an everlasting experience for underclassmen at Purdue University through the Rising Professionals Program.

Host Coordinator – Reagan Lear

Reagan Lear is a senior majoring in Movement and Sport Sciences and minoring in Psychology at Purdue.  Growing up with a father in the United States Air Force, Reagan and her family moved from place to place, including both domestic and international assignments.  Currently calling O’Fallon, Illinois home, Reagan is the second of two Lear children to attend Purdue, as her older brother graduated from the university in 2015.  Upon graduation, Reagan plans to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, ultimately joining the work force with a professional sports team or league.

During the inaugural year of the Rising Professionals program in 2016, Reagan served alongside her peers as a host for the distinguished alumni’s return to campus.  In 2017, Reagan continued her involvement with the program through her role as a host mentor.  In addition to her passion for Rising Professionals, Reagan is also a member of Purdue Foundation Student Board, the College of Health and Human Sciences Ambassadors and Mentors programs, and Purdue’s Division I women’s cross country and track teams.  Reagan hopes that her time at Purdue impacts and inspires her peers, and that the lessons Rising Professionals teaches resonate with other future student leaders.

Publicity – Daniel Hopfensperger

Daniel is a junior in the Krannert School of Business studying Marketing and Management.  He is from Brentwood, Tennessee, a suburb just south of Nashville.  He is an Eagle Scout who loves the outdoors, is an avid sports fan, and loves to exercise.  This past summer, Daniel spent his time in the suburbs of Chicago working as an Inside Sales Intern for Ryerson, a steel distribution and processing company.  He represented Rising Professionals as a host in the program’s second year (2017).

In addition to his involvement in Rising Professionals, Daniel spends his time in Krannert as a member of the School of Management Council (SMC), which acts as a liaison between the students and faculty.  Within SMC, Daniel is the current social and social media publicist for the council.  Daniel is a member of the Delta Delta chapter of Sigma Chi and currently holds the position of Assistant Scholarship Chairman.  Daniel is honored to be a part of the Rising Professionals Central Committee and is excited to honor Purdue through another successful Program!

Scheduling – Carolina Aguilar

Carolina is a junior in the College of Engineering pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Sociology and a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She is from Bogota, Colombia and is the first in her family to attend college in a foreign country. She has a great passion for Purdue and that is why she loves to give back to her community. In addition to being involved with the Rising Professionals Central Committee, Caro serves as an ECE Ambassador, a Pre-College Advisor in the Office of Future Engineers, does Undergraduate Research in the Nanotechnology Center, and was a Host for the Rising Professionals Program last year.

In her free time, Carolina loves to spend time with her family and friends, traveling and reading about technology. After having such an amazing experience as a Host in Rising Professionals, she is very humble to be part of this year’s Central Committee and is looking forward to inspire students with this program.

Events – Gracen Jarrett

Gracen Jarrett will be a sophomore double majoring in Agri-Marketing and Animal Agri-Business. She is originally from Washington, Indiana, a small town in Southern Indiana. On campus, she is involved with Purdue’s National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA), the Honors College, College of Agriculture Ambassadors, her sorority, Chi Omega, and of course, Rising Professionals. This summer she has a marketing internship with Aubrey’s Coaching and Training out of Indianapolis. Gracen is a proud Boilermaker whose ultimate goal is to help other Purdue students experience all the opportunities available to them on campus through Rising Professionals.

Internal – Rushabh Jajodia

Rushabh Jajodia is a sophomore pursuing Industrial Engineering with an Entrepreneurship Certification. He grew up in Gujarat, India and now resides in Naperville, Illinois. He is an immensely proud Boilermaker who loves the culture and diversity offered at Purdue. In addition to his involvement in Rising Professionals, he is a part of Purdue Solutions, which is a Technology- Consulting club on campus. This past year, he was an Office assistant intern with Indiana Space Grant Consortium, an organization which works in collaboration with NASA.

Rushabh is a big soccer fan and watches every Manchester United game along with his friends. He loves fun activities like going Bowling or playing Tennis, in his free time. He likes taking part in various Business case competitions and has a dream of travelling all the continents of the world before he is 30. After having a great time being a Rising Professionals host, Rushabh is looking forward to contributing to the Purdue community even more and is excited to take his boilermaker experience to another level through the Rising Professionals Central Committee.
