Old Masters and Rising Professionals is a proud Purdue tradition that brings distinguished individuals to campus to inspire, mentor, and connect with students.
The Old Masters Program, founded in 1950, began with the idea that success is defined by honesty, integrity, and strong values. Each year since, accomplished leaders from a wide range of fields have been invited to campus to share their stories and life lessons. More than 600 Old Masters have participated, making a lasting impact on the Purdue community.
In 2015, the Rising Professionals Program was introduced to expand this tradition by featuring recent Purdue alumni who are early in their careers and already making meaningful contributions. Their fresh perspectives help bridge the gap between college and post-graduate life.
Together, these programs offer a powerful blend of wisdom and relatability, giving students unique opportunities to learn from leaders past and present while continuing to grow the legacy of Boilermaker excellence.
