Host Program

The Old Masters Hosts are 50 of Purdue’s most enthusiastic and dedicated student leaders. These students are selected based on their passion for Purdue and leadership experience through an application and interview process, after which they begin their 8-week Old Masters training. The host experience throughout these 8 weeks consists of weekly meetings centered on program preparation, project presentations, personal growth, leadership development, and having fun with your host group.

During the 3-day Old Masters program, our Hosts serve as their Old Master’s liaisons to Purdue, attending classroom and organization talks with them, interviewing them for the Podcast, and creating lifelong bonds with them throughout the semester. Many Hosts, in previous years, have gained invaluable life advice, interview tips, and a mentor through their relationship with their Old Master. Our Hosts truly embody what it means to be a boilermaker and to make the most of your Purdue experience.

Old Masters Promotional Officers

The Promotional Officers are a group of individuals previously involved in the Old Masters program who are chosen each year to assist in the publication and promotion of the program. These individuals are past Hosts or Central Committee members with a desire to remain active in the program.
